Singing at Elis Fisher Court

Elis Fisher Court is a sheltered accommodation unit in Barry.

We had a quick coffee and a count up of the funds raised at Tescos (£70!). Then were off again as a much smaller choir of around 8 of us as we knew that we would not all fit into the room at Elis Fisher Court. Despite being a much smaller group we managed all the harmonies well and entertained the residents for a while before taking requests from the song sheets of carols and Christmas songs. The residents had donated £50 upon our arrival – which we thought was incredibly generous (the money was going towards Shelter Cymru) By the time we were leaving the residents had added another £10 to this and a choir member added £10 too making our total at Elis Fisher Court £70!
