My ‘Indie’ choirs (independent Community Choirs) regularly fundraise via their singing for charities such asWateraid, Shelter Cymru, RLNI, The Wallich, Local Food banks and do this via concerts, pub crawls – busking.
Also a composer and songwriter, in 2023 I was commissioned by UK schools organisation, Sing up to create one of their ‘World Songs’ for Sing up World Day for 2023, “Dreams Across the Ocean” this was a collaboration with Joseff Gnagbo who translated sections of the song into 3 different languages. This was then sung in thousands of schools around the world to celebrate Sing up Day, we’d written a song together in previous years for Book Trust Cymru.

I wrote a song inspired by the incredible Mermaid that is Angela Jones “Wild Woman of the Wye”. Angela honoured me back by using the song as part of her presentations about the state of the Wye and Usk rivers.
A Song of Strength about Malala Yousafzai on album ‘Cats of Coven Lawn’ Frankie Armstrong and Friends performed by Bread and Roses reviewed as ‘Finally, Laura Bradshaw’s Song of Strength is simply stunning; With lyrics that include extracts from Malala Yousafzai’s website, it’s a highly powerful statement in support of the right of everyone, but particularly females, everywhere to schooling and education’ (by music critic John Barlass).
