This is an event where St Mary’s church in Barry town centre open up the church to all the local schools to come and sing in their own half hour informal concerts in the weeks leading up to Christmas – and are then treated to biscuits and drinks and a look at all the amazingly decorated Christmas trees. It really is a beautiful church!

The school choir were invited and I met them at the church – not believing my eyes at how many children there were – I asked one of the staff – 57 children!! Anyway – even if some of them had only just joined – they all sang fabulously – an array of Christmas songs plus “So Strong” – Very “strongly” indeed! Busy and wonderful choir as they had their whole school concert later that evening – without me! Over to the teachers!
